Robert Dunn – Instructor


Robert Dunn was born in Temple and grew up in Dripping Springs, where he graduated in 1994. He lettered in football, basketball and baseball. Robert was a two year starter in football and basketball, earning all district honors in both sports his junior and senior years. He was a three year starter at shortstop for the Tigers, earning all district honors all three years. As a senior he was named MVP, 1st Team All Central Texas and Honorable Mention All State.

After high school, Robert went on to play at Brookhaven Junior College. During his freshman year he was the starting shortstop and lead off hitter until an arm injury ended his career. With his playing career over, Robert came back home and started coaching baseball and softball. In his softball coaching career he has two top 5 finishes in the World Series, four top 5 finishes in Nationals, including 1 National Championship and a runner up. While coaching baseball, he has won 2 USSSA World Series, 2 USSSA State Championships and has a runner up and championship ring at the Triple Crown Omaha Slumpbuster.

Robert lives in Dripping Springs and is married to his high school sweetheart Whitnee and their two beautiful kids Riley (16) and Reece (13).
